Atacama Consulting undertook a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) to ensure that environmental and social considerations are effectively integrated into the Kampala Street Lighting Master Plan. Key activities included identifying, describing, and assessing the likely significant environmental and socio-economic effects of the plan’s implementation, as well as evaluating the major social, environmental, natural resource, and climate change-related constraints that could impact its execution. Additionally, we assessed the opportunities for the master plan to enhance environmental conditions and promote development in Kampala.
