Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for the Integrated Urban Development Master Plan for Kampala Special Planning Area in the Republic of Uganda (GKMA-UDMP)

We participated in the preparation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment for the Integrated Urban Development Master Plan for the Kampala Special Planning Area. The decision to undertake the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) was informed by the need to determine the environmental and social implications of the proposed master plan interventions, so that they are factored into the planning process, and ultimately, the decision-makers are better informed about the environmental and social implications of the master plan.
