Atacama conducted a comprehensive assessment of the town council’s structural and institutional capacity to manage waste systems effectively to ensure public health. The study included evaluating community attitudes and practices that influence waste management and key waste generators, such as hospitals. The study led to recommendations and actions to ensure effective and sustainable waste management within the town council.
